The book of poems, “We can hold hands, if you’d like.”, is a melting pot of thoughts with themes of love, romance, self-reflection, growth, emotional triumphs, being revolutionary and more. In the beginning, when I hand-wrote my poems in a journal, I did not know it would eventually blossom into a self-published book. But in time, it was only right that it did. I feel inspired to share each piece in hopes that they will resonate in the healthiest and best of ways, with other people. Thought and care went into each poem and the depths of their meanings leave room for many interpretations. It is an authentic body of work that speaks volumes, especially if read with an open and creative mind. Also, I am happy to mention that the cover art is a painting that I created two years ago. As one who is pursuing interests in a variety of art mediums, combining my love for painting and poetry has been a true pleasure. Please do enjoy it!
